"We're a group of women business owners hailing from Greater Mount Airy, MD - the local four-county region," said Robin Cooney who along with Sheri Cates, founded Mount Airy Women in Motion in 2004. "Women in Motion is a networking group of women business owners helping other women business owners advance, encourage and grow their businesses." The January 29th meeting will be both a information sharing and networking meeting. Women in Motion member Alice Settle-Raskin will make a presentation about the group's new website, MountAiryWomeninMotionNews.Weebly.com. "The website was built to create a buzz around the Women in Motion, to spread the news about what this dynamic community of women is doing," said Alice Settle-Raskin, a public relations professional with more than 15 years experience spreading the news. "Through using the website as a tool to publicize and to promote the members and their businesses, it will add a huge breadth of synergy and the energy to keep our momentum going!"
